Traveler information for Covid 19:

Alert Level 4:

Sunair scheduled flight services are grounded in any locations under Alert Level 4. If you require travel for an essential service please contact us.

Alert Level 3:

Travel within Alert Level 3 areas is restricted. Those transiting between a Level 2 area and Level 3 will need to meet certain requirements to fly with Sunair.

  • For customers in an Alert Level 2 area, travel into an Alert Level 3 area is restricted. You must have an exemption or proof of address for that region to show you are returning home.
  • For persons returning home to their place of residence, proof of residential address will be required before departure.
  • Customers travelling from an Alert Level 3 area are only able to travel if they meet one of the permitted reasons for travel and follow the requirements as outlined on the New Zealand Government COVID-19 website.
  • If you are travelling out of an Alert Level 3 region you will be required to show a negative Covid test less than 72 hours old as well as your exemption or reason for travelling that fits the Government outlines.

Alert Level 2:

All Sunair flight services resume under this level with strict sign in, mask wearing and hygiene practices in place. Social distancing to be maintained where possible.

The safety of all Sunair passengers and staff is our top priority. We look forward to welcoming you on board soon.
